Privacy Policy
Privacy policy · How Exiid Labs LTD handles information on this site.
What this site collects
This site has no accounts, no signup, no forms that post to a server, and no checkout. Nothing you type into the Brief Desk reaches us until you send it yourself from your own mail app, and paid work is invoiced by email rather than sold here (see 'When you pay' below). Two analytics tools may run. Vercel Web Analytics is always on and privacy-friendly: anonymous, aggregate, and cookieless, page views, referrers, approximate country, device or browser type, and a few anonymous interaction events (for example, which apps or actions are used), with nothing that identifies you personally. Google Analytics 4 is opt-in: it loads only if you accept analytics cookies on the consent banner, and until you do, no Google cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. There is no advertising. We learn nothing else about you unless you choose to email us directly.
How contact works
The Brief Desk does not submit anything to us. When you choose a path and compose a brief, the site opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to yassine@exiid.com. You decide what to include and whether to send. Until you press send in your mail app, nothing leaves your device. There is no form handler, no third-party form service, and no email-marketing provider in the loop.
When you pay
Payment does not happen on this site. There is no checkout here and no card field: once scope and price are agreed by email, we issue an invoice from billing.exiid.com and you pay it on a Stripe-hosted page. The information involved is what you already gave us by email (your name, email address, and billing details) plus what the invoice carries: amount, line items, and whether it was paid. The Stripe account belongs to Fintrate LTD, which processes payments for Exiid Labs LTD under contract, so your payment details are handled on that account and Fintrate LTD is the name you will see on the invoice and receipt. Stripe handles the card end to end as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and may use the data for fraud prevention; we never see or store a card number. The legal basis is performance of a contract with you, plus our legal obligation to keep financial records. Invoice and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (six years in the UK), then deleted.
Data stored in your browser
The OS-style interface remembers your workspace and preferences locally. Window layout, open apps, and in-progress app drafts (brief text, terminal session, and similar) are kept in this browser's sessionStorage; theme, motion, similar settings, and your analytics-cookie choice (the key 'exiid-consent') are kept in localStorage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and you can clear it any time through your browser's site-data controls.
Email contact
If you email yassine@exiid.com, that message is handled in our normal email and used to evaluate fit, respond to your inquiry, and operate venture or Client Systems work. We do not sell or share contact details.
Retention
Email correspondence is retained as needed for evaluation, partnership, and legal purposes, then deleted or archived according to operational need. Because the site collects nothing, there is no separate site dataset to retain or delete.
